What an unforgettable MICA Weekend we had! Thank you for being a part of it and making it such a resounding success! From start to finish, the weekend was packed with excitement, creativity, and community.
The Kick-Off Reception celebrating Bill Gaskins' Black Mystery Month was a thought-provoking and powerful way to launch the weekend, with so many of you engaging deeply with the art and discussion. And of course, the highlight for many was the MICA in the Entertainment Industry session on Saturday night, featuring ND Stevenson ’13 and Jeremie Talbot ’98. Over 430 attendees joined us to hear their inspiring journeys from MICA to the top of the entertainment industry—what an incredible turnout!
Our workshops and open studios were filled with enthusiastic participants. Whether you were creating risograph zines, testing your knowledge of illustrators in the quiz show, or exploring the Globe Press letterpress studio, it was clear everyone wanted to share in MICA’s culture together.
We also had a heartwarming Master Guild Reunion Brunch, honoring alumni from 1974 and earlier. It was a beautiful opportunity to reconnect and reminisce the enduring spirit of MICA across generations. Let’s not forget about the vibrant Art Market, bustling with alumni artists sharing their incredible work, or the MICA After Hours Party, where we closed out the weekend in style—networking, dancing, and having fun together under the stars! 🌟🎶
We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend, and it wouldn’t have been the same without YOU! Thank you for joining us, making new connections, and celebrating the incredible talent and creativity of the MICA community.
